1:1 Tutoring
It all begins with a play based assessment to determine your child’s literacy stage of development. Then I design a personalized learning scope and sequence for your child so that we can reach your little reader’s academic goals. All lessons integrate your child’s unique needs and interests, and the learning continues at home through a curated book list and a reading guide for the whole family to use. Sessions are held at your home or at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library.

Light Bulb Clubs
There’s no better way to fall in love with reading than by learning and playing with friends. Light Bulb Clubs are research-based, themed book clubs inspired by student interest and stage of literacy development. The seventy-five minute sessions include a variety of crafts, games, books, and more. With a limited group size of 3-6 students, the amount of personalized instruction is maximized. Either form and host your own group or join one held at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library.
